	Pepper, Black Fine Grind 25 lbs

A fine ground pepper designed for cooking purposes. Durkee Black Pepper Fine Grind is a 40 mesh pepper with fines. The higher the mesh, the finer the pepper grind. This product is smaller in size than a fine salt. The taste of black pepper should be pungent and felt at the back of the throat and tongue. There should be a slight, but not overwhelming, burn to this taste. The aroma of black pepper is described as warm and musty.

An excellent cooking pepper. Durkee Black Pepper Fine Grind has more fines present (than Regular Ground Pepperd) so it is not designed for pepper shakers, as it has a tendency to coat the inside of the shakers. Mix with flour for a chicken or fish batter. Add to dark sauces, gravies, soups, stews, pasta & green salads. Use in any recipe calling for ground black pepper.

Use during cooking or sprinkle on after cooking. Black Pepper Fine Grind is an all-purpose seasoning that will add zest to nearly any dish. Since it is very fine it blends well in sauces and soups. Use a dash or two per serving. The best use of this product is for cooking.
